Adults. Parents, guardians, teachers, RBTs. On behalf of a kid.
What we are, and what we're not
We make learning materials and short assessments to support a kid's education. We are not a substitute for the professionals in the kid's life. See the disclaimer at the bottom of this page.
Your side of it
Give us information that's true. Use the site for its actual purpose. Don't try to break it, resell it, or use it to harm anyone. If you have an account, keep the password to yourself.
The materials
Worksheets and activities the site generates for your kid are for your kid. Print them, use them, keep them. Don't repackage them and sell them.
Ownership
The site, the code, the templates, the assessments, the design: ours or our licensors'. Don't copy or republish without asking.
Results
Assessments tell you where a kid is on a specific skill. That's useful information. It is not a guarantee about the future, and every kid is different. We don't promise outcomes.
Availability
We try to keep the site up. Sometimes it will be down. We may change it or improve it without notice.
If we need to stop someone
If someone uses the site in a way that could harm other users or violates these terms, we may suspend or end their access. You can stop using it and ask us to delete your data at any time.
Legal fine print
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is provided "as is." We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using it. Nothing here limits any right that the law says can't be limited.
Changes
If we update these terms in a meaningful way, the date at the top will move. Keep using the site after a change and you agree to the change.

Hope In Steps provides educational resources and personalized practice. Our materials are not a substitute for medical, psychological, speech-language, behavioral, special education, or other professional services.
If a kid needs any of that, get it. Our materials are meant to sit alongside real professional help, not replace it.
